Tekken 7 - Josie Rizal

I'm proud that another Philippine character is added to the roster, the first one was Mokujin.
Though I'm disappointed to say that I don't really like her design and profile... :/

These are my personal comments (positive and negative) and I don't care if I get criticized.
1. Her last name is a tribute to Philippine national hero Jose Rizal. More like, it somewhat a female version of him or something... :/ ?
2. She doesn't look Filipina at all. Same goes for her outfit, they could've at least tried to make it feel Filipino. Just saying.
3. Couldn't they have auditioned / hired someone (local Philippine dubber, celebrity, etc.) to voice her WITH Filipino words? For me, her English sounds forced. Yup, English is our second language, but please...the rest of the (human) characters are at least speaking in their native dialects.
4. Hopefully they put in the accessories a wooden stick for her eskrima specialty, and a varied Baro't saya, an unofficial national Filipina dress.
Just a little history lesson, it's unofficial because the Philippines was once ruled by Spaniards for a long time, so most of our cultures were heavily influenced by them.
5. Josie should at least have a meaningful back story. The Philippines has a lot of heritages and stories, anyone can create a unique story from that.

Above all else I've mentioned, I don't harbor that so called "Pinoy Pride" for this, even if I'm a pure Filipina myself. I don't need to keep on telling that "Hoy! May Pinay character sa Tekken 7! Astig! ("Hey! There's a Filipina character in Tekken 7! Cool!") just like the others because you don't need to show it off like some attention-maniac.

But I'm thankful to the creator for including our country in one of the new characters.
Please let us see in Josie Rizal what Filipinos are capable of, and that she's not just included for fan request's sake or something.
